How fuel cost is estimated
The calculator divides your trip distance by your vehicle mileage to estimate litres needed. It then multiplies that amount by the fuel price you enter. For a 300 km drive at 15 km/l, you need roughly 20 litres. At ₹100/litre, the estimated fuel cost is ₹2,000.
Keep the estimate realistic
Your actual cost can vary with route, traffic, terrain, driving style, weather, load and recent changes in fuel price. If you are planning a long journey, consider adding a small buffer to your budget.
